Welcome to Derek's blog spot. The blog  covers fine art, articles and any newsworthy item related to the arts or aesthetics.


Posts concerning art, art history, the psychology of art, philosophy of art, and issues covering a theological approach are welcome. The term 'art' lends to new definitions and it is this which I wish to explore.


Although these questions are often seen as separate intellectual concerns the blog hopes to invite studies of a more interactive nature. The term deep-ecology, for lack of anything better, reflects this development, meaning studies, issues, experiences, and concerns which might reflect a deeper unity;  a vital concern to this exploration.
